Raquette Lake is celebrating its own Winter Carnival with everything from a Ladies Frying Pan Toss to a Tug of War. Join in the fun  and click on the schedule below!


Saturday and Sunday, February 16 - 17 
Raquette Lake Winter Carnival 
Saturday, 10am Join us in Raquette Lake for a day of fun Winter events. 

10am Kids Games, 
10am Adult Envelope Making Class at RLUFS, 
Noon: Ladies Frying Pan Toss, 

1pm Co-ed Ice Golf, 
1pm Ice Tower Construction, 
2pm Kids Envelope Making Class at RLUFS, 
5pm Tug of War Under the Streetlights, 
Dark- Fireworks, Lighting of the Ice Tower immediately following! 

Cross-Cut Competition Sunday,12pm 
Try your hand at cross cut, a Raquette Lake tradition.
Get the best time take home a prize!

February 17-24, 2013 

Sunday, February 17, 2013 
Skate Night 
6-10pm, Geiger Arena Ice Rink Enjoy some roller rink favorites at the Long Lake Ice Skating Rink. A night for all ages! The DJ spins tunes all evening. Skate Night features all the favorites: skate races, couples skate, speed skate, limbo, backward skate, red-light green- light and the dice game! 

Monday-Saturday, February 18th-23rd
11-5pm, Incapahco Artisans, $5
A whole week of shrink plastic and recycled metal jewelry fun! 

Tuesday, February 19th 
Survivor Games 
NOON Geiger Arena Youth of all ages are invited to compete in fun survivor games. Games include building a snow shelter, snow obstacle course, and man hunt. All that surviving will be topped of with a pizza party and a bonfire. 



Friday, February 22nd 
Treasure Hunt 
Noon, Geiger Arena 
Join us at the Geiger Arena for a treasure hunt! Let’s see how well you can follow directions and clues

Friday-Sunday, February 22-24th 
Mid -Winter Geocaching Event Join the Blueline Geocachers for a one-of a kind Adiron- dack Winter Event. X-C ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, camp outdoors, or cozy up inside. Challenge yourself, introduce the kids to the fantastic game of sport and fun. Friday meet and greet, Saturday luncheon, Sunday flash-mob
