FRIDAYS AT THE LAKE
Free live music at Lake George's Shepard Park

June 15 Max Creek (The Classic Jam Band)
They had so much fun at their 41st Anniversary Weekend in Lake George that they're coming back to offer a free show to their local fans!  Max Creek is a living, breathing historical study in a hugely significant yet too-often overlooked American subculture: the jam band. Thousands of shows, dozens of recordings and an army of fiercely loyal fans has made them one of the most beloved acts on both the festival and club live music circuits.

June 29 Jeff Bujak
Solo electronica dance music. This Northampton, MA based keyboardist has designed a new style within electronica. His music falls into a large pool of  instrumental dance genres, lands on one and leaps to the next while he wails on his keyboards to create something truly moving, smart and original. Bujack handcrafts his own beats and loops, then samples and performs his half improv/ half composed pieces live to create a true "experience."  He is performing memorable sets and quickly becoming one of the most talked about solo acts on the road.

July 6 Sirsy
This duo is a musical breath of fresh air in a world of homogenized & overly super-sized corporate rock. Their clever, hook drenched songs are infectious and lyrically run the gamut from wildly joyful to utterly heartbreaking.Melanie Krahmer has been described as a girl with stunning, inimitable, voice capable of a lion's roar and a floaty whisper, with the lungs of a teenage athlete."She plays a full drum kit while standing up, handles bass (with a drumstick) and throws in flute solos and melodica too.  Rich Libutti plays everything else, including bass (at his feet); and is the anchor to Melanie's on stage tornado.

Metroland Magazine poll winners and now signed to Funzalo Records, they're working on a new disc with Paul Kolderie and Sean Slade  (Radiohead, Pixies).  SIRSY recently finished a studio project with famed producer David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Kelly Clarkson).

July 20 Jim Weider'Project Percolator
(The 'Master of the Telecaster' -- guitar showcase)
Former lead guitarist of Hall of Fame legends THE BAND Group brings his highly-acclaimed progressive instrumental quartet Project Percolator picking up where Jeff Beck off in his Blow By Blow/Wiredjam band.  In other words, this is one genre-bending group of talented individuals !  Improvisation is a heavy part of the mix, as are the tight instrumental runs and the building climaxes. A national fan base is steadily taking shape as the band increasingly embarks on far-away tours, delighting audiences in each new city. More and more, Twiddle is looking like Vermont's next big

August 3 Rev Tor Band (Berkshire Rock and Roll)
The Rev Tor Band was formed in western Massachusetts by front man Tor Krautter in 1996. Since it’s conception, the band has evolved into a power house on the east coast circuit, performing from Maine to Key West Florida. In their native New England, the band keeps a heavy touring schedule enthusiastically supported by a large following of dedicated fans.Rev Tor and his ensemble's large original repertoire feature funky, bass oriented rhythms and foot stomping percussion. Bouncy guitar lines pull the whole groove together and creates an entrancing state that makes ones body want to move.  Soulful melodies are immediately memorable. Even the bands cover tunes have a distinctly “Torricized” feel and include B-side tunes from The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers and others. The Band has 6 releases with Smellydog Records

August 10 Wild Adriatic
Wild Adriatic is a four piece rock band with heavy soul and blues influences. The band spent 2011 playing shows in support of their debut EP “The Lion.” After sharing stages across the Northeast with bands like MuteMath, Company of Thieves, Third Eye Blind, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Saving Abel, and many more, the band was chosen as the Best Band in the Capital Region by regional independent radio heavyweight 102.7 WEQX and the Magic Hat Brewing Company.Early 2012 has seen the band head back to the studio with producer John Naclerio (Steel Train, Brand New, the Ataris) to work on a batch of 6 new songs. The band went in to the studio determined to add more of a soulful, vintage vibe to their repertoire, and the resulting EP “Lock and Key” is just that – soulful, vintage feeling rock and roll with bluesy riffs and catchy vocals abound.

August 31 Stone Revival Band (American Blues Rock)
In the summer of 2009 Rob Beaulieu, Dave Spadaro, Mike Cassels, Drew Costa, Jeff Prescott and Vinnie Amico got together and started a band. Each one of the members have played together at various times in other projects (moe., Raisinhead, etc) but to be able to all get together and play under one roof has proven to be a successful adventure. Their first show in 2009 at The Putnam Den had a sparse crowd however as word got out they became a local hit. They get together at least once a month to play out breaking away from there normal projects.
