Long Lake Winter Carnival Schedule of Events
“Kid’s of all ages have a blast” says Long Lake Diner Owner and event organizer Jim Piraino. “Everyone really looks forward to the Broomball tournament and my wife is the defending champ of the Ladies Frying Pan Toss, so it’s going to be a competitive year.”
Schedule of Events January 14, Saturday
Visitors swarm Long Lake flocking from as far as Michigan, New Jersey, Hawaii and Maine. “It’s tradition, it’s cold and everyone enjoys the celebration of the day. Enjoy free ice skating and free town transportation in the evening around Long Lake. The bus runs from 5pm until 1am. Call 518-354-1510 and it will pick you up at your home and return you when you are ready. FREE.
*A bonfire will start around 10:00 a.m. near the sledding hill and behind the Geiger Arena where all the events take place.
