Over 30 Adirondack Independence (July 4) Fireworks, Parades, and Celebrations!

Where are you going to watch Adirondack Independence Day (Fourth of July) fireworks? 

There are over 30 different locations around the Adirondacks and beyond pulling out all the stops to help celebrate Independence Day. (The Fourth of July) in the United States isn't just about the family barbecues as families gather to celebrate the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776.  
Independence Day Weekend for the Southern and Central ADKS: Lake George, Old Forge, Inlet,
Long Lake, Northville and beyond. 
Many towns around the Adirondacks have full day celebrations with face painting, live music and even barbeques. Some towns have live music preceding the firework display while others have parades to show their pride in the ol' "red, white, and blue."

* Rouses Point June 29- July 1: 58th Annual July 4th Celebration with carnival rides, food, vendors, libation tent, food and games, live music and fireworks at dusk (June 29: 4 pm - midnight, June 30: 8 am - midnight, July 1: noon - 7 pm)
June 30
Minerva: June 30: parade, art show, fireworks from The Point at dusk  Minerva Day 
Speculator: June 30 Speculator Pavilion2834 State Route 30 Speculator 5pm: live music, food, vendors, carnival rides, 7 pm: parade, 9 pm: fireworks
Great Sagandaga Lake: June 30: Boat Parade at 11  am 
*Ticonderoga: June 30- Jul 4: Best Fourth in the North Theme: Super Heroes and Villains: 5 days of carnival rides, live music, games, races, Montcalm Mile, Fort Ticonderoga events and more
Northville: July 30-July 1: Northville "Doins" celebration will include: -Rides and vendors in Waterfront Park on Main Street in Northville on Friday, June 30th from 3-9pm -Rides and vendors all day Saturday July 1st, 12-9pm. There will be a parade on Main Street at 1pm  and at dusk there will be fireworks.  Rides and vendors will resume on Sunday July 2nd, 12-5 p.m. 
Lake George: June 30-July 4: Fireworks at Great Escape, Admission charged, All active and retired Military receive free admission to the park, please present valid identification and enjoy. Go to Coca Cola Fest Area for special games, live DJs and tons of other great entertainment! There will be plenty of opportunities to win great prizes like Season Passes, tickets to Fright Fest and some great Coca-Cola swag!

Glens Falls: July 3: 7:30 pm Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra at Crandall Park, Fireworks at dusk
Hague: July 3: 6 pm Calamity Rock Concert at Hague Town Beach, fireworks at 9 pm
Northville:  fireworks Over Great Sacandaga (near Sport Island Pub and Restaurant)
Tupper Lake: July 3: 5 pm Live music with Ben & Jay at the Municipal Pavilion followed by a program of patriotic music by High Peaks Opera & Tupper Lake High School Musicians then fireworks at dusk (9 pm) at the Municipal Park. 
Willsboro/Essex: July 3: fireworks at dusk in Essex (alternates between Essex and Willsboro each year) 

July 4
Bolton Landing: July 4: all day festivities include, children activities, face painting, food vendors, games, live music, fireworks at Roger's Memorial Park at 7 p.m. 
Brant Lake: July 4: fireworks Mill Pond 8:30 pm 
Chestertown: July 4: Farmers Market 10 am - 2 pm at Chester Municipal Center,  Main Street  Chestertown
Cranberry Lake: July 4: 8-10:30 am Cranberry Lake Firecracker Road Race: 2018 Firecracker Non-sanctioned Race / Walk. 5k and 10k run, 5k and 1 mile walk. 
Inlet: July 4: 1 pm Pingpong ball drop, 7:30 live music at Arrowhead Park, fireworks over Fourth Lake at dusk
Jay, NY July 4:  parade at noon and fireworks at 9 pm 
Lake George: July 4: 9:30 pm fireworks at Shepard's Park. (Also fireworks every Thursday July 12-August 23) 
Lake PlacidJuly 4:  10 am FREE Concert at Mid's Park: Join Jazzy Ash & the Leaping Lizards in Mid's park at 10:30 a.m. to hear a live ukulele, guitar, banjo, accordion, fiddle, bass, trombone, sax, washboard and drums! pm parade followed by Lake Placid Sinfonetta (part of the Songs of Mirror Lake Series) at Mid's Park and fireworks at dusk 
Long Lake: July 4:10 am July 4th Games, 2 pm Long Lake Bed Races, 4 pm Penelope the Clown, 6 pm Grit and Grace perform at Town Beach, fireworks 9:30 p.m. at Long Lake town Beach

Old Forge: July 4: 9 am - 6 pm Forge Festival of Arts and Crafts at Adirondack Bank parking lot, free band concert at 7 pm, lakefront fireworks at dusk over Old Forge Pond.  
Plattsburgh: July 4: 10 am relay, 1 pm Champy parade, live music all day, 9 pm fireworks
 Raquette Lake: July 4: BBQ and live music at the Village Green, fireworks at dusk (9:30 p.m)
 St. Regis Falls: July 4: 11 am parade, St Regis Falls Volunteer Fire Department Fireman Field Day BBQ North River Rd: Dusk: Fireworks over St Regis
 Saranac Lake: July 4, 9:45 am Kiddie Parade to Riverside Park (Meet at St. Bernard's Church and children walk through town to Riverside Park Bandshell, 7 pm outdoor concert at Berkley Green with Alex Torres Latin Orchestra (Latin Salsa). Fireworks: 9:30 pm over Lake Flower

Westport, NY Independence Day Celebration
North Creek: July 7: 5-10 pm music and food followed by fireworks at the Ski Bowl
Piseco: July 7: fireworks from Sandy Cove, 9:30 pm
Westport: July 7 parade at 5 pm (meet at the Essex County Fairgrounds, Fireman’s Annual Pig Roast at Watch fireworks from the shore over Lake Champlain 

July 8
Chester and North Warren Summer Fest: 2 pm music, food, kids activities, entertainment and fireworks (dusk) 

Wherever you are, give yourself plenty of time to choose the perfect spot to view the fireworks. Below is a list of firework shows and special "July 4th" weekend events around the Adirondacks.
