Over 30 Adirondack (and Beyond) Turkey Trots and Jingle Bell Runs

Run off that turkey!

Getting out of bed and running a 5K (or more) may not be everyone’s idea of a Thanksgiving celebration, but Turkey Trots, Reindeer or Jingle Bell road races are a popular, fun way to spend time with family.

Around the Adirondacks and beyond there are many various road races and raising funds and awareness for wonderful causes. Even if you don’t want to get up on Thanksgiving Day and run 3.1 miles, you can still donate, dress-up in some crazy holiday garb to support local charities and cheer on other participants.

Some of these events also are used to raise awareness for healthy living as well much needed funds for specific charities!
