8-10 pm Lake Placid Film Forum presents Sleepless in Lake Placid at the  LPCA  moderated by Matt Wohl, Chair, Miami Dade College film program and Sleepless Coordinator, with lineup of professional filmmaker judges including Gwendolen Cates, with Dmitry Pirkulov serving as a special, “ex-officio” juror to select 1 or more films for screenings in Moscow. 
9:30 pm-midnight – Lake Placid Film Forum presents tribute screening of THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS at The Palace Theatre hosted by Larry Jackson, who worked on the film while serving as an executive at Orion Pictures and was a collaborator of Demme’s; introduced by Gary Smith, AFS Board Member
