Friday - 4/27/12 For Art Events around the Saranac Lake  Robert Louis Stevenson Memorial Cottage and Museum is now open by appointment only until July 1.
Whiteface Memorial Highway will open May 10


8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Take a scenic Gondola ride up Whiteface (weather permitting) 
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Olympic Jumping Center (Elevator) is open. 
9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Paul Smith's VIC trails are open. Call 327-6241. Building reopens April 9
9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. High Falls Gorge is open for the season.
10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Dewey Mountain Recreation Center is closed. (Soon will be open again for mountain biking)
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Wild Center will reopen May 4 after spring cleaning
10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Lake Placid Olympic Museum open
7:00 p.m. Reel Paddling Film Festival, Lake Placid Center for the Arts
8:00 p.m. Owl Prowl at the Paul Smiths VIC with Brian McAllister, free for PSC students, $5/general, 327-6241 for more information

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Goodsell Museum presents "Medicine in the North Country"
10:00 a.m. Every Friday bring pre-schoolers to the Johnsburg Library for craft and story time (FREE)
3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The School of the Old Forge Ballet Company is offering free lessons for Ballet, Tap & Jazz, Ballroom, Beginning Piano, and Latin & Modern for the communities of the Adirondack Park held at the North Woods Community Center located at 110 Crosby Boulevard in Old Forge.  For additional information and schedules, please phone Sue Ann Lorenz-Wallace at 315-369-8721 or email oldforgeballet@roadrunner.com.
