Adirondack Family Calendar of Events: What to do May 13-15, 2011

By Diane Chase

The Adirondack Weekend Highlights for May 13-15, 2011.

Daffest will take place this weekend in Saranac Lake, after having been postponed due to the recent flooding. So look forward to the soapbox derby, doggie parade and thousands of beautiful daffadils.
Around the Champlain Valley the Underground Railroad Museum will be opening as part of the Adirondack History Center in Elizabethtown. In the Central Adirondacks the Taste of Home at the Old Forge Art Center will bring springtime recipes to light. In the Southern Adirondacks, Thurman will host its annual town-wide garage sale and the Hyde Collection hosts is family Discovery Day. Enjoy your weekend!
