Adirondack Family Calendar of Events: What to do April 1-3, 2011

The Adirondack Weekend Highlights for April 1-3, 2011. It looks like we dodged that storm. What to do with kids? We are collecting maple sap in our homemade “moonshine” apparatus and seeing how our own fare against the professionals.

The High Peaks/Tri-Lakes area The 6th annual Adirondack Festvial of Food and Wine will take place around Lake Placid.

There are always great Adirondack walks around Lake George, Lake Placid, Inlet or Old Forge to get families outside!

Around the Lake Champlain area Parker Farms in Chazy will continue collecting sap and giving free samples of maple coffee and maple ice cream.

Whiteface and Gore are open for spring skiing while in the Lake George area the Eggstravaganza will once again take place at Great Escape to benefit the Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne. Perhaps the Bride and Prom Show is more to your liking.  There is certainly a lot to do! Enjoy!
