Adirondack Family Activities: Calendar of Events April 8-10, 2011

The Adirondack Weekend Highlights for April 8-10, 2011.

My children spent yesterday making snow people and then pelting each with snowballs. It was not how they expected to spend their spring vacation. Since we love the snow, it is no hardship.

For a few highlights of events: The Southern Adironacks will host a Kid Fest at the Glens Falls Civic Center or a discounted pass at Great Escape Indoor Water Park while in the Central Adirondacks the Adirondack Museum continues its Cabin Fever series . In the High Peaks, Whiteface has extended its season with its annual pond skimming contest being this weekend or enjoy a free concert that benefits the Tupper Lake Food Pantry. Throughout the Champlain Valley there are pancake breakfasts, The Second Saturday Cinema and more.

Have a wonderful Adirondack weekend of things to do!
