Adirondack Family Calendar of Events: March 4-6, 2011

It is the beginning of maple sugar time. The weather is getting warm. There is still plenty of opportunity to ski and get outside. Highlights around the Adirondacks: Backcountry Ski Festival in Keene Valley, Up Yonda Farm is the first place to kick off maple time and a pancake breakfast in Bolton Landing. In Long Lake participate in the annual Adult/child fishing derby or take advantage of McCauley Mountain's free XC ski trails. Oak Mountain is Speculator is holding their annual cardboard toboggan race. So much to do! There is plenty of other events so enjoy the weekend!
