Adirondack Calendar of Events: What to do March 25-27, 2011

The Adirondack Weekend Highlights for March 26-27, 2011. It is the New York State Maple Producers Association celebrates events throughout the state from 10-4 each day. Pancake breakfast, horse-drawn rides, sugar shanks and gallons of liquid gold will be on hand in celebration of another successful maple sugar season.

It is the Otter’s Birthday Party at the Wild Center. This is also the last weekend the Wild Center will be open until May 1st. West Mountain celebrates a family fun day with cardboard sled races, BBQ and scavenger hunt.

Whiteface is open as its Gore. It is the last weekend to take advantage of “Take Your Son to Gore” where sons 19 and under ski free with a full paying adult or get ready for boating season with The Great Upstate Boat Show in Queensbury
