Adirondack Calendar of Events: December 17-19, 2010

By Diane Chase

December 17-19, 2010

It has been snowing in the Adirondacks so while some alpine ski areas are busily making snow, other downhill ski resorts have to patiently wait for Mother Nature. Around the Park the opportunity to see Santa is plentiful. Family events and free activities abound.

Let's not forget those in need and remember there are plenty of drop boxes in grocery stores for nonperishable food items to help keep food pantries stocked during these very cold months. Also Toys for Tots will be finishing their collections for new, unwrapped toy donations. Thank you for doing a little something to help make everyone child have a warm, safe holiday.
