Adirondack Events: October 15-17, 2010

I have mulched, composted and protected plants around our property but still have a yard full of leaves. Even my children are no longer "falling" for my Tom Sawyer-like  wiles. The amount of fun to be had by raking giant piles of leaves and jumping from the zip line only received minor amounts of attention.

Our house is located in some sort of wind tunnel where the neighbors' yards are swept clean and we gather all their yard litter.

Since the weekend weather is supposed to be chilly and wet, I will ignore our yard (like I need an excuse) and will look for some inside activities below!

This is the last weekend that the Adirondack Museum will be open for the season. Enjoy the weekend. -Diane
