Adirondack Events: September 17-19, 2010

What is happening around for kids and families in the Adirondacks September 17-19, 2010? It is the start of a festive season. Just this weekend alone sees festivals happening in all corners of the Adirondacks. With the weather cooling off we can comfortably hike those hills and paddle those streams and enjoy the Adirondack outdoors.

Adirondack Harvest has put together a week of events, farm tours and festive events around Essex and Clinton County, promoting local foods and products.

So to celebrate the first weekend after the first week of school, here are some scheduled Adirondack events.

Tri-Lakes and Beyond - including Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, Malone, Paul Smiths, Bloomingdale, Gabriels, Wilmington, Jay, Upper Jay, Keene, Keene Valley

Western Adirondack Family Time – including Cranberry Lake, Newcomb, Thendara , Raquette Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Long Lake, Old Forge, Northville, Caroga Lake, Star Lake, Croghan and Inlet

Southern Adirondack Family Time – including, Schroon Lake, North Creek, Indian Lake, Whitehall and Lake George, Caroga Lake, Mayfield, Lake Luzerne, Bolton Landing, Gloversville, Warrensburg, Hague
