Adirondack Calendar of Events: September 24-26, 2010

This starts the fourth annual Take a Child Outside week initiative started in North Carolina based on the best selling book “Last Child in the Woods.” With that it is Smithsonian FREE museum day where museums around the country open their doors to all holding this special pass. 

The Autumn festivals continue with  the Adirondack Balloon Festival in Lake George, Field, Forest and Stream in Elizabethtown and  the Artist at Work Tour around the Tri-Lakes. That is just to name a few. Other festivals are below. Nothing was left out intentionally. Enjoy!
