Adirondack Events: July 16-18, 2010

It is supposed to be another hot one with the added bonus of thunder and rain today. The wonderful thing about the Adirondacks is that there are spaces to be alone either in the wilderness, on foot or boat or opportunities to socialize with neighbors by relaxing to an open-air live concert.

Places to go when it rains? The Newcomb or Paul Smiths' VICs, local libraries, or museums. Perhaps its time to learn a new board game. As long as its warm my children like being outside in the rain just as well as in the sun. It's Mother Nature's "Slip N' Slide."

Below are just a few scheduled events for this weekend. Enjoy!
