Adirondack Events: June 4-6, 2010

It is National Trails Day® this Saturday and a host of other Adirondack activities and events include Friendly's Free Ice Cream Day. National Trails Day® celebrates Americans and our ability to get outside and on the trail whether through our cities, towns or mountain villages. A 1987 report recommended that all Americans be able to be on a trail within fifteen minutes of their front doors. This celebration of the outdoors helped launch National Trails Day® in 1993.The Adirondack Park is a perfect way to explore favorite hikes, trails and walks so enjoy getting outside for an unscheduled activity or pick any of the scheduled events out and about the Park!
